I love the idea of going on an exchange holiday - anyone ever been on one? And where?

Yes - it was really fun. I was a bit homesick, but the best advice I got was to try everything and that's what I did. Other friends were fussy about the food and that kind of thing but I had a really good time. Mine was in France - and I will definitely go back in the future. They do talk fast though.

When I went to Germany a few years ago, my exchange partner was really scary and smoked and got into fights at school!! It was still really fun though because I made loads of friends that I'm still friends with now!
