It still seems like summer here in Cornwall (I actually went in the sea on Sunday and the water is really warm, honest!) but I know autumn is here because we’re getting near the time for the Northern Children’s Book Festival. Can’t wait to visit the north-east of England again where I always get such a lovely welcome.

Festival time
One of the best things about summer is festivals! Coming to the end now but will be at the Newlyn Arts Festival as guest speaker at a literary lunch at the Tolcarne Inn, Newlyn on Weds, 21st Sept at 12 o’clock. Come along if you you want to talk, buy a book, get one signed…

The ending!
Aaargh! I’m getting lots of response to the ending of “He’s After me”. Some of you love it, some of you are reduced to tears, some of you will never forgive me for what happens. It’s proving really controversial. What do you think? How about posting your opnion on the forum?
